His name is Nick, but how did he get his nickname and the second part of his name? He lives in a time when AI has just begun creating robots that would replace humans. There were various experiments.
Nick was one of those experiments. As a teenager, robots separated him from his parents and tried to create a perfect machine in combination with a human body. The experiment was successful, except that Nick was left with a soul that the robots could not transform. Thanks to Nick's emotions, he turned against the robots.
The thing is that people didn't believe him. They feared he would turn against them like a robot one day. He was left alone, and he wanted to kill as many robots as possible to prove to the people that he was on their side. The goal was to get to the center of the robot base and destroy the source where everything started.
